I recently stayed at Yoko and also participated in an incredible event there. Words cannot describe the soul enriching experience I had there. Plus I stayed in one of the glampings and it was perfect. The cabin and the view were stunning. I would sit in the balcony every morning and soak in all the beauty around.

I had the privilege of staying at Villa del Bosque for 4 nights. What a magical place. In the heart of the jungle. A diamond in a green setting. Monkeys are our morning alarm. Pure joy! The residence is very well equipped and luxurious. Architecture and interior design worthy of the most “hyped” places on the planet. I loved watching the sunsets in the Infinity pool. There is even a mini gym. I loved the nice touches from the team, especially the fresh eggs from Yoko North's chickens for the morning. A delight! 5 minutes by car or ATV from Santa Teresa and far enough away at the top of the mountain to feel like you're almost alone in the world. The concept of Yoko village of which Yoko North is a part is unique. A conscious community being formed in one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica. I recommend x1000.
A beautiful place! Love what they are about and are in the process of creating! While I was there I had the pleasure to stay in the glamping tent (WOW, so special to sleep in nature in light luxury), and in Casa Blanca looking over the ocean... it was breath taking.The concierge was also super helpful and the larger community was very welcoming. While there I got several pleasant surprises such as joining a potluck and a yoga class. Very unexpected and were highlights for me.
This place was everything I wished for !! The house is incredible! Beautiful spacious , tastefully decorated. The architecture design is splendid. The location it’s dreamy right in the middle of the jungle with an infinity pool view. And just 10 min drive to town. Close to everything but at the same time private away from noise and the movement of the town. We had everything we needed. The host was top! Very responsive and very helpful with recommendations in town, from where to buy groceries, best restaurants, etc . They help us book our rental car , our plane tickets. They really made sure to make things easier for us. They gave us cleaning service at the house multiple times a week! On top of that they received us with fresh farm eggs, and they brought more during the week. So sweet from them ! We left in love of Costa Rica , the house and our host! We will definitely be back! I recommend this stay 10000% one of the best experiences I’ve had. Thank you !!!

Wow! This beautiful clean villa is luxurious and offers a stunning view from the infinity pool into the jungle.Kitchen is very large and well equipped. Rooms are spacious.We came in as investors and we were greeted and welcomed very well and then Jonah was very present throughout our stay!!I enjoyed the peacefulness of the deck when having my morning coffee.It is very quiet. My wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine on the deck at night.The exterior garage is useful for the sports equipment.This may be the most beautiful villa in Santa Teresa!!!

Our villa 1 at Yoko Village was absolutely gorgeous. The house is located in a very lush and calm area giving us lots of privacy and we felt the drive to the village was very short. Definitely a place worth staying at in Santa Teresa.

Yoko is a new earth community that is just beginning to grow and brining so many beautiful souls together. I stayed in the Yoko village community space at the ocean jungle view glass house and my body and soul just felt at home. This relaxing atmosphere was so healing. At day time we had all kind of yoga, chi gong, belly dancing, meditations, sauna, ice bath …at evening time we had awakening talks, amazing high vibe food, life concerts of the best new earth musicians, dancing and playing music around the fire. Just they way I always imagined the new earth communities. Liran the founder is a sweetheart and his vision is so needed in our world.
I’m an investor in Yoko Village South and have been closely following the project since its inception. In April 2024, I lent Yoko $50K, and I’m happy to share that I received a 20% annual return in just 5 months, exactly as promised. I look forward to doing more business with Yoko, as the team consistently prioritizes its investors and lenders. I first heard about Yoko Village and its development in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, back in early 2021. Having never heard of Santa Teresa, let alone step foot in Costa Rica, prompted me to research further. Reading up about Yoko Village ambitious long-term vision of building a network of global eco-villages in paradise settings as communities for remote workers/digital nomads, and Santa Teresa, a fairly undeveloped but super quaint and rustic beach town as a popular surfing destination and fast becoming the next hot spot (think Bali and Tulum), further fueled my fascination and fast-tracked up my bucket list of places to visit and potentially invest in.Fast forward to now, after having missed the first 2 Yoko Connect community retreats, I finally was able to attend the recent Yoko Connect held during this past end of January and had the opportunity to personally see what the hype on Yoko Village in Santa Teresa was all about. This was a 5-day long retreat held at a beautiful outdoor event space (Hummingbird Garden), jam-packed from morning to night with scheduled events ranging from wellness and development workshops, mini music concerts, community briefing updates, property tour, etc. During this retreat, I had the great pleasure of meeting and connecting with the Yoko Village team members, owner community members, prospective owners/investors, and some residents local to Santa Teresa area.As you all know, it's one thing to read about something, but it's a whole another level when experiencing it first hand in person. Couple thoughts on my overall experience:1) Firstly, part of the charm and appeal about Santa Teresa and its neighboring region is the remoteness and seclusion of the area, surrounded by nature…..everywhere you look, you're confronted with landscape of expansive lush jungle, fronted by miles of unspoiled beaches and the Pacific Ocean, where sunset that never gets old is a common daily occurrence. And it's within this serene and magical setting on the hillside (located literally just minutes from the beach) Yoko Village decided to build its eco-village community, and I now understand the inspiration behind Yoko Village's vision.2) Secondly, from my time spent during the retreat personally engaging with the Yoko Village family, my overwhelming impression is that Yoko Village is not just another real estate development. It's a community builder, not only of homes or communal amenities, but a community of people with shared values in prioritizing health and balanced lifestyle, one that embraces the mindset of living a life that is conscious and meaningful. To me, this is the key differentiator that enabled Yoko Village to stand out from the rest of the other real estate developers.3) Lastly, the most impactful takeaway for me from this visit was the people I had met at the retreat and the surprisingly unexpected number of meaningful connections I was able to make. In all honesty, as this was a solo trip, it's not always easy to connect with random strangers, and with that in mind, my main objective was simply to check out the Yoko Village project and Santa Teresa beach town. So, to my pleasant surprise, initial superficial meet and greets eventually turned into deeper and meaningful conversations with some of the folks I had the opportunity to spend more time with. So much so that as time passes, instead of being a retreat, there was a sense of comfortable familiarity and it started to feel like a gathering of family and friends.Needless to say, this visit to Yoko Village had been an eye opening and positive experience for me. After having experienced Santa Teresa first hand, and spending some quality time with the Yoko Village team and community members, it reaffirmed my convictions in Yoko Village and its grand vision. Yoko Village is embarking on a path of building something truly beautiful, and I for one am excited to be a part of it.
I have never visited a place more stunning in my life. Waking up to the breathtaking view and sounds of the jungle, basking in the sun by the pool throughout the day, and drifting off to sleep with the spectacular ocean sunset in view was an unparalleled experience. I highly recommend it!
I have had the pleasure of attending not one but two of the amazing Yoko Connect events. From the inspired speakers to the musicians to the food to the performances, and all the wellness amenities it’s a not miss experience. You can’t really understand this community until you experience it. I have met many friends from all walks of life that I know will be in my life for the rest of my life. The quality of the people that are drawn to Yoko is something you don’t often find. Santa Teresa is a magical place and Yoko is somehow capturing some of that energy and turning it into the community.. I can’t wait to see what they build next…
Staying in Yoko Village North was amazing. I visited Santa Teresa and Yoko Village from Seattle. The house is incredible: modern, state of the art high electronics and high end furniture, brand new, gorgeous finishes, 3 bedrooms, very clean, modern, private swimming pool. Wake up to howler monkeys and exotic bird calls. I highly recommend that you stay and experience this home. The location is super close to Santa Teresa, Playa Hermosa, and a lot of fantastic restaurants. You will love it!

What am incredible spot. Such an amazing and luxurious spot in the middle of the jungle. Perfect blend of getting away from any noises while still being afforded modern conveniences. I have been searching for a place where I could live a more sustainable lifestyle and connect with like-minded individuals. Yoko Village seems to be the answer to my quest. From the first interaction with the team, it simply felt like home. Their passion for preserving the natural surroundings and creating a sense of unity among residents was inspiring. The team's focus on eco-friendly practices and their commitment to building a mindful community aligned perfectly with my values. As a single individual, I was looking for a place where I could feel part of a larger family, and Yoko Village exceeded my expectations.I am a professional coach and they are just finishing building this beautiful event and retreat space where I could host retreats of my own, just like any other community member can. I live an active lifestyle and the event space is fully facilitated with an open-door gym. Just behind it are plenty of hiking trails where I did my morning walks. Everybody on the team and the people around them seem to live a healthy, active life. They already started with the weekly schedule at the event space, so I had the opportunity to participate in two yoga classes. A beautiful, colourful sunset served as the backdrop, and then millions of stars appeared above us. Pure magic. Although I am on my way back to Canada, I'm already planning to come back in January, most likely for the Yoko Connect event, which seems to be incredible.The warm camaraderie among neighbours and the willingness to support one another made me feel like I was truly at home. I am immensely grateful for experiencing and getting to know this incredible community. Thank you!
Magical. There really isn’t a better word to describe the experience that I had visiting Yoko Village. This is a place that has a soul. So beyond the thoughtfully designed residential and communal structures and the natural beauty of the Costa Rican jungle, there is a magnetism that attracts people who want to live in meaningful community. I had the opportunity to visit in August 2023 and I was very impressed with what is, but even more inspired by what will be. That is, the founders have an ambitious vision that is inspiring and I hope that make Yoko Village and its community a part of my life in the long term. We were fortunate enough to attend the recent Yoko connect event and tour Yoko Village North. The event was great, a really lovely community, and lots of interesting thoughts and ideas being shared. The food was delicious too. We also loved the work planned and already completed for North Village. There is so much potential with the development whilst also retaining a huge connection with the natural surroundings.

Couple thoughts on my overall experience:1) Firstly, part of the charm and appeal about Santa Teresa and its neighboring region is the remoteness and seclusion of the area, surrounded by nature…..everywhere you look, you're confronted with landscape of expansive lush jungle, fronted by miles of unspoiled beaches and the Pacific Ocean, where sunset that never gets old is a common daily occurrence. And it's within this serene and magical setting on the hillside (located literally just minutes from the beach) Yoko Village decided to build its eco-village community, and I now understand the inspiration behind Yoko Village's vision.2) Secondly, from my time spent during the retreat personally engaging with the Yoko Village family, my overwhelming impression is that Yoko Village is not just another real estate development. It's a community builder, not only of homes or communal amenities, but a community of people with shared values in prioritizing health and balanced lifestyle, one that embraces the mindset of living a life that is conscious and meaningful. To me, this is the key differentiator that enabled Yoko Village to stand out from the rest of the other real estate developers.3) Lastly, the most impactful takeaway for me from this visit was the people I had met at the retreat and the surprisingly unexpected number of meaningful connections I was able to make. In all honesty, as this was a solo trip, it's not always easy to connect with random strangers, and with that in mind, my main objective was simply to check out the Yoko Village project and Santa Teresa beach town. So, to my pleasant surprise, initial superficial meet and greets eventually turned into deeper and meaningful conversations with some of the folks I had the opportunity to spend more time with. So much so that as time passes, instead of being a retreat, there was a sense of comfortable familiarity and it started to feel like a gathering of family and friends.Needless to say, this visit to Yoko Village had been an eye opening and positive experience for me. After having experienced Santa Teresa first hand, and spending some quality time with the Yoko Village team and community members, it reaffirmed my convictions in Yoko Village and its grand vision. Yoko Village is embarking on a path of building something truly beautiful, and I for one am excited to be a part of it.
I have never visited a place more stunning in my life. Waking up to the breathtaking view and sounds of the jungle, basking in the sun by the pool throughout the day, and drifting off to sleep with the spectacular ocean sunset in view was an unparalleled experience. I highly recommend it!
I have had the pleasure of attending not one but two of the amazing Yoko Connect events. From the inspired speakers to the musicians to the food to the performances, and all the wellness amenities it’s a not miss experience. You can’t really understand this community until you experience it. I have met many friends from all walks of life that I know will be in my life for the rest of my life. The quality of the people that are drawn to Yoko is something you don’t often find. Santa Teresa is a magical place and Yoko is somehow capturing some of that energy and turning it into the community.. I can’t wait to see what they build next…
Staying in Yoko Village North was amazing. I visited Santa Teresa and Yoko Village from Seattle. The house is incredible: modern, state of the art high electronics and high end furniture, brand new, gorgeous finishes, 3 bedrooms, very clean, modern, private swimming pool. Wake up to howler monkeys and exotic bird calls. I highly recommend that you stay and experience this home. The location is super close to Santa Teresa, Playa Hermosa, and a lot of fantastic restaurants. You will love it!

Nestled on the side of a lush green valley in an absolutely serene environment. This stunningly gorgeous Villa has everything you need to completely check out and have an unbelievably relaxing time. It’s wonderfully designed, stunning fixtures and spaces for every kind of vibe. Highly recommended!
What am incredible spot. Such an amazing and luxurious spot in the middle of the jungle. Perfect blend of getting away from any noises while still being afforded modern conveniences. The finishes on the house are fantastic and the service from the team was above and beyond. Eden was extremely responsive and sorted everything we needed. Thanks again!
I have been searching for a place where I could live a more sustainable lifestyle and connect with like-minded individuals. Yoko Village seems to be the answer to my quest. From the first interaction with the team, it simply felt like home. Their passion for preserving the natural surroundings and creating a sense of unity among residents was inspiring. The team's focus on eco-friendly practices and their commitment to building a mindful community aligned perfectly with my values. As a single individual, I was looking for a place where I could feel part of a larger family, and Yoko Village exceeded my expectations.I am a professional coach and they are just finishing building this beautiful event and retreat space where I could host retreats of my own, just like any other community member can. I live an active lifestyle and the event space is fully facilitated with an open-door gym. Just behind it are plenty of hiking trails where I did my morning walks. Everybody on the team and the people around them seem to live a healthy, active life. They already started with the weekly schedule at the event space, so I had the opportunity to participate in two yoga classes. A beautiful, colourful sunset served as the backdrop, and then millions of stars appeared above us. Pure magic. Although I am on my way back to Canada, I'm already planning to come back in January, most likely for the Yoko Connect event, which seems to be incredible.The warm camaraderie among neighbours and the willingness to support one another made me feel like I was truly at home. I am immensely grateful for experiencing and getting to know this incredible community. Thank you!
Magical. There really isn’t a better word to describe the experience that I had visiting Yoko Village. This is a place that has a soul. So beyond the thoughtfully designed residential and communal structures and the natural beauty of the Costa Rican jungle, there is a magnetism that attracts people who want to live in meaningful community. I had the opportunity to visit in August 2023 and I was very impressed with what is, but even more inspired by what will be. That is, the founders have an ambitious vision that is inspiring and I hope that make Yoko Village and its community a part of my life in the long term. Thank you to the team for an amazing introduction and I’m looking forward to my next visit hopefully very soon.
We were fortunate enough to attend the recent Yoko connect event and tour Yoko Village North. The event was great, a really lovely community, and lots of interesting thoughts and ideas being shared. The food was delicious too. We also loved the work planned and already completed for North Village. There is so much potential with the development whilst also retaining a huge connection with the natural surroundings.

Marta, a former tech marketing expert of 10 years, transitioned to somatic therapy, integrating mind-body-spirit work. As a certified breathwork facilitator, she guides individuals and groups to reconnect with their essence and power through immersive workshops and international retreats.
Architect and Designer, urban planning teacher at University (FADU, UdelaR, Uruguay), for the last 10 years. Has worked as a project designer in offices from Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Tel Aviv. Has won several awards in international architecture and urban planning competitions.
