Rhythms of the Heart
We’re excited to introduce an eclectic lineup of live acts, each offering a unique musical journey that blends diverse influences, ancient melodies, and the ability to transport our souls to new dimensions.
Following the unforgettable performances at the last Yoko Connect, the majestic trio L.I.A, Orka and Scotty Grand left us spellbound and longing for more. Their captivating performances earned them the title of “favorites of the crowd,” making it impossible for us not to bring them back for another round.
Despite their diverse styles and backgrounds, these exceptional artists share a common thread: the talent to guide us on a melodic journey to distant, enchanting landscapes. From L.I.A’s shamanistic overtone singing to Orka’s mesmerizing fantasy folk, get ready to embark on a musical odyssey where beauty knows no bounds.
Orka
Orka is a dedicated musician, singer-songwriter, and educator focusing on spiritual growth, ritual artistry, and ceremonial practices. She has been exploring the transformative aspects of Singing Circles for over a decade. This journey led to creating an innovative project that deepens this exploration, alongside a stage project that aims to replicate singing circles’ healing and spiritual engagement through live band performances.
With a history of international performances, chart successes, and a notable public speaking engagement, she is returning to Yoko Connect to do what she does best: inspire and unite people through the power of her music and unique voice.
Orka El Gaucha, enchanting the audience with her magic at Yoko Connect, Costa Rica.
L.I.A
L.I.A, comprised of Lora Ute, Arash Khodayari, and Izumi Yamamoto, effortlessly blend classical, jazz, folk, electronica, and uncharted soundscapes. Despite their recent formation, they’ve already captivated audiences at renowned festivals like Garbicz and Bucht der Träumer.
